Trefor Hogg represents Camberley East at Surrey County Council, having been elected in 2021.
The Camberley East division covers the Surrey Heath Borough Council wards of: the Old Dean, St. Paul's, and Town.
Trefor is the chairman of the Old Dean Community Group, but he is probably best known for setting up and running the Free Food Stall with Reverend Chris Richardson to help those struggling with free fruit, vegetables and essentials. Trefor can often be found donning an apron serving up a hot meal every weekend on the Old Dean.
Trefor is also a Community Representative to our local NHS and an active Member of the Adults and Health Select Committee working to reduce health inequalities.
He has a degree in in Microbiology with Plant Biology and has a longstanding interest in, and commitment to, improving the environment as chairman of a local environmental charity and in his campaigning for better protection for Nature.
During his working life Trefor has worked with and for many government organisations around the world. He brings extensive experience in commercial matters to the Council and brings this unique experience to bear as Vice-Chairman of the Pension Committee.
