Paul Deach, Surrey County Councillor for Mytchett, Deepcut and Frimley Green, met with our MP Michael Gove and representatives from SSEN to discuss the issues local service families have been facing with their Service Family Accommodation.
Michael said:
"I was very grateful to representatives from SSEN and Cllr Paul Deach for meeting me in Parliament earlier this week to discuss the progress being made with connecting Deepcut service families to a proper power supply.
"I will continue to work with SSEN and the current developer to push for as speedy a resolution as possible, and will post further updates as and when I have news."
Commenting, Cllr. Paul Deach said:
"Yesterday I met with the Secretary of State for Leveling Up, Housing and Communities and Surrey Heath MP Michael Gove at the House of Commons.
"We discussed a number of issues including Parking on Pavements that constituents I represent, have been raising with me for at least 6 years and in turn I have been raising with our MP.
"The Government consulted on Parking on Pavements a number of years ago. Michael said he would be asking the responsible Minister to give him an update on next steps in respect of that consultation and if the Government intends to make any decisions as to implementing any measures."
