Surrey Heath is to benefit from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund with a £1 million grant to be spent over the next three years.
At last night's Executive, we set out arrangements to ensure that Surrey Heath Borough Council complied with the requirements of the new UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This fund will enable a number of important economic development and regeneration initiatives to be accelerated.
The Council will submit an Investment Plan to the Government this month outlining the projects to be funded in the areas of Communities and Place, Local Business and People and Skills. An annual programme of projects will be developed for the fund in years two and three and brought to the Executive for approval.
Further information on the arrangements to ensure that Surrey Heath Borough Council complies with the requirements of the new UK Shared Prosperity Fund can be found within the attached file.
