Ed McGuinness dropped by the Camberley & District Men's Shed at London Road Recreation Ground in Camberley.
Men's Shed's are designed to bring men together to make, repair and repurpose, and support projects in their local communities whilst improving wellbeing, reducing loneliness and combatting social isolation amongst men.
Camberley & District Men's Shed is a community enterprise aimed at providing a welcoming environment primarily for, but not exclusively, men who may find it difficult to build social connections following retirement or bereavement, where they can share skills and forge new friendships.
Commenting, Ed said:
"Fantastic to meet with Neil at Camberley Men’s Shed.
"The atmosphere and sense of achievement of crafting and building something is a huge mental boost to all their members (men and women) and they have created an environment for openness and wellbeing which is fantastic.
"Their demand is also rocketing so it’s secure for the future. Thanks again for showing me around - was amazing and I’ve signed up!"
