The Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Sarah Jane Croke, hosted the Borough of Surrey Heath's Civic Dinner last week, bringing together local charity and voluntary organisations, alongside businesses and Councillors from all parties at Surrey Heath Borough Council to network and give thanks for their tireless work for the community during the pandemic.
Commenting, the Mayor said:
"It was an honour to be able to hold the Borough of Surrey Heath's Civic Dinner on Friday night.
"Bringing together a few of our voluntary organisations and local businesses to network and give our thanks, along with the Mayor's chosen charities Crossroads Care Surrey and Emerge Advocacy who spoke about their amazing work and the need for their services in our Borough. A very humbling night that I am proud to have been a part of."
