New boardwalk at Fox Corner thanks to Your Fund Surrey

The new boardwalk and dipping platform at Fox Corner Community Wildlife Area was officially opened last weekend by Cllr Keith Witham.

The project received £10,000 from Your Fund Surrey’s Small Community Projects Fund to replace old timber beams and treads, that had reached the end of their life, with all recycled composite materials. The replacement boardwalk will improve the safety and accessibility of the site for visitors.

Despite the heavy downpour, there was a great turnout from local residents.
