Over the past few weeks, Gordon's School in West End has hosted several Parliamentary candidates standing in this year's General Election for Surrey Heath.
The school is also running it's own mock election, with students standing for their chosen party and campaigning become elected as the Gordon's MP - we wish the Conservative candidate the best of luck!
Commenting, Michael said:
"We've had a fantastic question and answer session with more than a hundred students and teachers and we covered everything from the future of childcare, to maths and physics, to the NHS, to Brexit, to an Australian style points based immigration system - really good questions from an outstanding group of students.
"And I also met the students who are standing in the school's own election. I want to wish the Conservatives luck, but I also just want to say to all the students, thank you for your democratic engagement, I loved your tough questions, and I loved your passion and commitment for making our country a better place.
"Gordon's is an outstanding school and the teachers here do a wonderful job."
