Small Business Saturday in Surrey Heath

Small Business Saturday is a nationwide campaign that celebrates and supports small businesses in the UK. It takes place on the first Saturday of December every year, which in 2023 will be December 2nd. On this day, millions of customers across the country are encouraged to shop at their local and independent stores, online or in person, and enjoy the benefits of buying from small businesses.

Commenting, Michael said:

"Today is Small Business Saturday, and we have so many great independent shops and businesses here in Surrey Heath.

"It’s so important for us to champion our small businesses that do so much for our local communities and the economy, and to show my support today, I popped into a couple of fantastic small businesses in Lightwater - Traditional Barbers of Lightwater and George Arthur Butchers Ltd.

"If you can, please join me in giving Surrey Heath’s small businesses the trade and encouragement they need to thrive."
