Camberley Armed Forces Day

Today, Camberley town centre played host to Surrey Heath's Armed Forces Day.

Our Borough has a rich history and close link to our Military, with The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and the Joint Hospital Group (South East), based at Frimley Park, holding the Freedom of the Borough. 

There were plenty of free, fun family activities in town, with live music, entertainment, and the Farmers' & Artisan Market.

Commenting, Cllr Shaun Garrett said:

"We are so lucky to have The BID (Love Camberley) in Surrey Heath. Most of the great events that go on in our town are down to them. It was great to catch up with so many people in town today.

"I look forward to all the other great events going on for the rest of this year."
