The new website for Surrey Heath Borough Council has gone live today, providing easier access for residents to a wider range of services online.
The upgrade was part of the last administration's Annual Plan to to improve the access residents have to services, and this upgrade makes the website more user-friendly and accessible.
The search facilities on the website have been improved, and are now faster and produce better tailored results. Similarly the accessibility to access the website on different devices has been improved, meaning the minutes of a meeting or looking up a specific planning application can be loaded straight from a mobile phone.
This all comes from the Council's commitment to greater openness and transparency, enabling residents to have easier access to the information they want and are looking for.
