The Chobham Branch of Surrey Heath Conservatives held an insightful and open Q&A session with Michael Gove MP at the Chobham Village Hall.
Residents of the village were invited to submit questions in advance before the event, so that the main concerns and issues of residents in Surrey Heath, such as what Michael is doing to support commuters about SWR, could be answered. After this, Michael took questions from the audience in an open Q&A session.
Commenting, Chobham Parish Councillor Alex Hanney said:
"It was an engaging evening at the Village Hall with dozens of direct and well-thought questions from residents on both local and national issues.
"The Q&A session demonstrated the need for the villages of the Borough to be treated as individual and separate entities, which Michael fully acknowledged in his support for the local village communities."
