The Lightwater Committee at Windlesham Parish Council (WPC), announced earlier this month that a new playground would be installed at the recreation ground behind All Saints' Church.
Following a consultation period with residents on the design of the playground, the overall design was slightly tweaked and will now include an inclusive roundabout, a hopscotch graphic, a trampoline, a toddler friendly multi-play, a swing set and a see-saw. The works should be completed in mid-June.
Commenting, Cllr Katia Malcaus Cooper said:
"On my way home tonight I swung by the playground at the Rec to see what progress has been made this week. The trampoline and inclusive/wheelchair friendly roundabout are both in and the multiplayer unit has been dropped in."
