A meeting between local councillors for Bagshot took place with Richard Tear, County Councillor for Bagshot, Windlesham and Chobham, to discuss the plans for the village and how to resolve issues such as speeding on the A30.
Commenting, Mark Gordon said:
"Just had a very productive meeting with our county councillor Richard Tear and my fellow councillors Andrew Willgoss and Valerie White to discuss plans for Bagshot High Street, and the A30 with reference to speed reduction, repainting the lines, improving road safety and the crossings in the village.
"Although this is a slow process, work is being done behind the scenes to move these projects forward, I will keep the residents updated if our progress."
