The playground at Loman Road has been now been refurbished and is open again for local residents in Mytchett.
The extensive improvements to the playground have seen new equipment and surfacing installed, including swings including a viper rope swing, a pyramid net, toddler multi-play, balance beams, roty roundabout, seesaw and springers.
This refurbishment is part of Phase One of the Borough-wide Playground Improvement Scheme. Other playgrounds due to be refurbished include Chobham Road Recreation Ground, Frimley and London Road Recreation Ground, Camberley.
Commenting, Paul Deach, Councillor for Mytchett and Deepcut, said:
"I am delighted that the play area has been updated and we have able to use funds from local development to be put back into the community in this way."
