Marking the efforts of crews from Surrey Fire & Rescue

Michael Gove MP met SFRS firefighters, Officers and Mike Goodman, County Councillor for Bagshot, Windlesham and Chobham, to learn more about the recent fire at Chobham Common and to mark the efforts of crews and others.

James Alder, from Surrey Wildlife Trust, gave the group a tour of the Common to understand the impact the recent fire has had on the environment and local wildlife. 

Surrey Fire and Rescue Service hope to close this incident on Monday following regular inspections over the weekend.
