Following his visit last year, Michael Gove MP returned to West End Bowls Club to see the brand-new extension to its Club Room.
Back in January 2017, Michael had visited the Club and became a fully-fledged member. He learned of the Club’s ambitions for the future, and enthusiastically endorsed its plan to extend the Club Room in order to improve facilities and cater for an explosion of new members.
Since then, the Club has been busy getting on with its plans, and kindly invited Michael back last Friday, 22 June, to show him the transformation to the Club Room.
Commenting, Michael said:
"It was lovely to have been invited back to West End Bowls Club last week to see their brand-new extension to the Club House – such a wonderful addition – and a huge thank you to the Club members for trying to teach me and my team how to play bowls, we thoroughly enjoyed it!"
