Traffic lights not the option for Frimley Green roundabout

There are currently ongoing proposals to install traffic lights in Frimley Green at the Wharf Road and Frimley Green Road roundabout.

Michael Gove MP met with local councillors and residents today to discuss these proposals, and following productive conversations, will be making representation to Surrey County Council to consider an alternative scheme.

Commenting, Michael said:

"Positive meeting with councillors and local residents regarding the proposed traffic lights at Frimley Green. I will be writing to Surrey County Council to ask it to consider investigating alternative measures that won’t impact on the Green."
