Windlesham First School has been a village asset for more years than I care to remember, looking after generations of local children.
I was last here with local MP Michael Gove talking to the school’s head, Naomi Ezzard about the issues this and other schools had concerning falling rolls. Thanks to a parachute payment, that Michael was instrumental in obtaining, the school was able to continue to offer the quality of care that it wanted to.
If you have a child and are looking to find a reception class you would find it very difficult to find a better place to choose than here.
In the photo is the head, Naomi, local Bagshot and North Windlesham Councillors, Valerie White and Mark Gordon who alerted me to the schools need for a disabled access, together with me and Ollie Barker, the builder.
We are stood on a new disabled ramp which was funded by Surrey County Councils “Your Fund Surrey” using my division’s allocation from the fund. One of the favourite parts of my role, is working with our MP and local councillors to support the community.
