Surrey County Council have launched it's second round of the the Solar Together scheme, that allows residents to register for a solar panel group-buying scheme.
All residents living in one of the participating council areas and who own their own house (or have permission from the landlord to install a solar PV system) can register for the Solar Together scheme. Small and medium-sized enterprises (non-domestic) and Commonhold Associations meeting this requirement can participate as well.
By registering through Solar Together, this can help residents in Surrey Heath that are looking to install solar panels to get the best price available.
Commenting, Cllr Marisa Heath, Surrey County Council Cabinet Member for Environment, said:
"If you live in Surrey and are interested in solar panels or battery storage systems, join Solar Together Surrey today to find out how you could get them installed for less.
"This is the second run of Solar Together and we have done a lot of work on trying to iron out the process - it is really worth getting involved if you are thinking about solar."
