Local councillors for the Old Dean, Trefor Hogg and Shaun Garrett, held a meeting between Accent Housing and Michael Gove MP to discuss the issues tenants have been facing with Accent Housing.
They were joined at the meeting by the Accent Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Customer Experience South and East, to discuss how Accent have made mistakes in the past in resolving issues for their tenants, and how they plan to address these issues moving forward.
Commenting, Cllr Shaun Garrett said:
"Thank you to Michael Gove for facilitating a meeting with Accent Housing this afternoon at St Martins Church. Myself and Trefor Hogg were able to discuss with the Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and Director of Customer Experience South and East a lot of the issues that residents discuss with me an almost daily basis.
"More needs to be done to improve services for tenants in the Old Dean and across Surrey Heath, it was encouraging that Accent recognised that they have been getting it wrong and are making big changes to rectify the situation."
