While out in Bisley and West End today, Ed heard residents' concerns by repeated utility company disruption to Guildford Road, A322.
It's unacceptable that we live in an era where there is so little co-ordination between companies and the council to ensure local residents aren't completely cut off from either leaving or returning to their homes. Ed promises to work with his network of Councillors, MPs and other colleagues to end this scourge on our community.
Commenting, Ed said:
"As your Member of Parliament, I promise to work with the utility companies and Surrey County Council to stop unacceptable behaviour like this, and to make sure it is all properly co-ordinated.
"People of Surrey Heath should be able to go to and from work, to the shops, and to see friends and family without being impeded by these regular, disjointed roadworks."
