Paul Deach, County Councillor for Frimley Green & Mytchett, responds to proposals for parking restrictions in Frimley Green.
Residents in Frimley Green have highlighted various locations in the village that they feel would benefit from parking restrictions for several reasons.
As a result, I have asked highway officers to conduct parking reviews and report back to me with their recommendations.
So far they have completed three of the locations I have asked them to review. These are:
-
The Green
-
Worsley Road
-
Cross Lane Junction with Frimley Green Road
Highway officers have to get my agreement before moving forward with any proposals.
Therefore, I feel I must allow residents to give feedback on their views on any such proposals. So I have created a questionnaire for you to complete with that in mind. This is available here: https://bit.ly/39EXwoa
If you live in or visit Frimley Green, please make sure you complete the Questionnaire. Please encourage members of your household to complete the Questionnaire and make sure you share the link to it with your neighbours and friends in the village.
If you have a business, I also want to hear your and your customer's views, so feel free to share the Questionnaire with your patrons. If you do want to share the Questionnaire, here is the link:https://bit.ly/39EXwoa
Once the Highways team have my approval which I intend to give by 23rd May 2022, they will advertise the proposals to the community.
Please make sure you complete the Questionnaire so I can fully understand your views, and will help me form my decision.
