Places Leisure in Camberley has been named as a finalist for UK Active’s New Concept, Build or Design of the Year Award.

Camberley’s state of the art leisure centre, which opened in July 2021, has been named as a finalist for UK Active’s New Concept, Build or Design of the Year Award.

The new multi-million pound centre has been built on the site of the old Arena Leisure Centre and brings an impressive, modern leisure facility to Surrey Heath and the local area.

Cllr Rebecca Jennings-Evans, Portfolio holder for Places and Strategy said:

“We are very proud of our new leisure centre and this award is well deserved recognition for Roberts Limbrick who designed it and Pellikaan Construction who built it."
