Parkside gets a slam dunk of a new basketball unit

Southcote Park play area in Parkside, Camberley, has received an upgrade with a new basketball and goal unit.

Through a grant of £15,000 from the Local Community Improvement Fund, safety safety surfacing has been replaced throughout.

Commenting, Cllr Rebecca Jennings-Evans, Surrey Heath Portfolio Holder for Leisure, Culture and Community, said:

"I'm thrilled to see these improvements to Southcote Park play area complete - just one of several play area refurbishments going on across the borough at the moment.

"I am sure the improvements will be enjoyed by all in Parkside. Well done Josephine Hawkins for making sure this was delivered."
