During this year's Local Democracy Week, pupils from The Grove and St. Augustine's Primary Schools visited Surrey Heath House to find out how Councillors at Surrey Heath represent residents.
The Mayor of Surrey Heath Cllr Dan Adams and Cllr Josephine Hawkins, SHBC's Children's Champion, engaged with the pupils and explained how the Council works and makes decisions, including on how an individual gets elected. Pupils from the schools also held a lively debate in the Council Chamber.
