Lightwater: Meet the Beat

Policing in Lightwater has just got a new face following a restructuring of the Surrey Heath Beat at Surrey Police.

PC Howard and PSCO Hill have been assigned to Lightwater and Cllr. Katia Malcaus Cooper met with them to discuss policing matters in the village.

Commenting, Katia said:

"I am delighted to introduce PC Howard and PCSO Hill, who have been assigned to Lightwater following a restructuring of the Surrey Heath Beat (Surrey Police).

"I met them today to discuss important issues in the village and also went to visit a local business who was victim to organised crime just before Christmas.

"I will be arranging shared surgeries with the team, so please let me know what issues you would like us to cover so that we can be prepared to offer advice and well as dealing with specific problems."
