On Friday, I visited the new Lakeside School at Mindenhurst.
Executive Head Steve Meakin showed me around, and I got to see the children in the classrooms during lessons.
I was immediately struck by how well-engaged all the children were in their classrooms.
Lakeside School at Mindenhurst is a new state-of-the-art educational facility, and I am very proud to have it in my County Council Division and the community I live in.
During my look around, I also got to meet the school governors. A very committed bunch of people laser-focused on the best educational outcomes for the children who attend the school.
