Surrey Heath Borough Council has been in the process of raising the Green Flag at all four of the Surrey Heath parks to win this prestigious award.
At this year's Green Flag Awards, four parks in Surrey Heath received the Green Flag status. This comes thanks to the efforts of the previous Conservative administration at Surrey Heath Borough Council and our focus to ensure that all residents have access to high-quality and well managed greenspaces in our Borough.
The Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Pat Tedder, attended the flag raising at Windlemere SANG alongside members of the Council's Greenspace team, who we all thank for their hard-work and dedication in maintaining these spaces for all to enjoy.
