At the year's General Election, the boundaries of the Surrey Heath Parliamentary constituency will be changing. Ash Parish and Tongham will be transferring to the new seat of Ash and Godalming, and Normandy, Pirbright and Fox Corner will become part of Surrey Heath.
The previous Member of Parliament for these villages, Jonathan Lord, met with our candidate Ed McGuinness to discuss the uniqueness of the area, his work within the local community, and how Ed as a Conservative can be their voice in Parliament.
Commenting, Ed said:
"Brilliant to meet with Jonathan Lord today in Normandy, Pirbright and Fox Corner. As many of you will know the Guildford Borough Council ward of Normandy & Pirbright (which contains the separate areas with their own unique villages) comes into Surrey Heath in the upcoming General Election.
"Jonathan has been a great MP for the area - especially on his work on the separate Flood Forums. Looking forward to championing this and more as your next MP if you put your trust in me on 4th July!"
