Resurfacing works are taking place along Ambleside Close in Mytchett, and County Councillor Paul Deach has provided an update of the work to be undertaken across the rest of the division.
Commenting, Paul said:
"Obviously, the rate at which the highways are being improved is not as quick as any of us would like, but I think it is important to highlight the work that is ongoing across the county by Surrey Highways.
"In my own division of Mytchett, Frimley Green and Deepcut works have been completed or are in the pipeline.
"As I type, highways operatives are upgrading Ambleside Close in Mytchett but resurfacing a large part of the road at the entrance to Ambleside. More importantly, to my mind and following feedback I had from residents there with mobility issues, the pavements there are being completely resurfaced.
"Thank you to the residents of Ambleside for their patience while these works were scheduled. They should be completed by next week.
"Still much work to be done elsewhere in my county division and I am on the case."
