Former Leader of the Liberal Democrats in Surrey Heath, and Vice Chairman of the South Eastern Region Liberal Democrats, crosses the floor to join Surrey Heath Conservatives.
Speaking, Cllr Sashi Mylvaganam, Surrey Heath Borough Councillor for Frimley Green, said:
"I am deeply frustrated by the personal attacks made by the Surrey Heath Liberal Democrats on hard-working councillors and the blatant untruths spread without consequence, solely to win elections and harm our Borough.
"I can no longer support the current leadership, which lacks the necessary experience and integrity to effectively run the Council and serve the residents of Surrey Heath.”
