A special flag raising event and two minutes silence took place on Wednesday 19 October on the front lawn at Surrey Heath House for 999 Emergency Services Day.
The event was attended Cllr Alan McClafferty, Leader of Surrey Heath Borough Council, alongside the Mayor Cllr Helen Whitcroft, Jenny Knight, Celebrant, Honorary Alderman and retired Fire Service Officer, Alan Whittart, Surrey Heath Police Borough Commander, Inspector Matt Walton who was joined by Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) and other borough police team members, with representatives from Surrey Fire and Rescue Service and South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust and SHBC Councillors and SHBC Officers.
