A special flag raising event took place today on the front lawn at Surrey Heath House for 999 Emergency Services Day.
The event was attended by The Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Sarah Jane Croke, SHBC Leader, Cllr Alan McClafferty and Surrey Heath Police Borough Commander, Alick James.
The 999 Emergency Services Day is an opportunity to show support for our selfless NHS and emergency services heroes.
It was founded in 2016 and is a national day across the UK, supported by Her Majesty The Queen, HRH The Prince of Wales, HRH Duke of Cambridge, the Prime Minister and First Ministers of Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
