Lightwater Connected and Lightwater Society for the Village organised a grand day out for Lightwater's annual village fete.
Commenting, Cllr. Rebecca Jennings-Evans said:
"It was my honour and pleasure earlier today to open the Lightwater Fete. Another fantastic event organised by Lightwater Connected and Lightwater Society for the Village.
"The weather was good and there was a full afternoon of arena events, good food and lots of interesting stalls and activities, plus a fabulous and Royal themed flower festival in the Church.
"A big thank you to the Lightwater Fete Committee, Lightwater Society, Lightwater WI & All Saints Church, the local volunteers; as well as Windlesham Parish Councillors on The Lightwater Committee for supporting the event and working with the Lightwater Society to make this event happen. The event was amazing and so well attended. It truly showcased our wonderful community.
