Michael Gove visited the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, to hear from instructors and cadets about life on the Commissioning course, and the challenge of preparing cadets as leaders in the British Army.
The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS or RMA Sandhurst) is the British Army’s initial officer training centre. Whilst located in Sandhurst, Berkshire, the ceremonial entrance lies in Camberley. It trains all British Army officers, as well as men and women from overseas, due its reputation as one of the world's finest military academies. Its motto is "Serve to Lead".
