B&M officially opened it's newest store in Camberley town centre this morning, with the Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Pat Tedder, cutting the ribbon.
Cllr Shaun Garrett joined the Mayor and Mags Mercer, CEO of The Hope Hub - B&M's chosen local charity - at the new store's opening, and the store manager presented Mags with a voucher for £250. This is the first B&M in the whole of Surrey, and it should be a great addition to our town centre.

"This morning at 8:00am B&M Stores Camberley officially opened its doors. Thanks to Surrey Heath Mayor and Mags Mercer CEO of The Hope Hub for opening the new store.
"It was great to meet some of the of the staff and see so many people using the store when it opened. I couldn’t believe how big the store looked from the inside.
"I was so delighted a few months ago to announce B&M would be coming to Camberley. In my role at Portfolio Holder for Economic Development & Transformation at Surrey Heath this was great news to share along with other businesses that were also joining us in Camberley.
"The officers have been working really hard in the background for months, so once again i wanted to thank them for all there hard work.
"The launch of the new store will create 55 jobs for local people. The discount retailer has taken possession of a previous 20,369sqft BHS store which has undergone a comprehensive internal and external refurbishment programme.
"Customers can expect to find a wide variety of branded groceries for the best possible price including a range of food, drink, and pet food. There is also a fantastic selection of quality health and beauty products, homeware, electricals, DIY essentials, toys, games, gifts and plenty more to explore.
"It is great to see that The Hope Hub Surrey Heath has been chosen as the new stores Charity."
